A place to call home.
A life to call your own.
Treasure House is a residential community in Glendale, Arizona, for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Residents have their own apartments, their own schedules and real responsibility for their everyday lives, with people nearby when they need a hand.
Adulthood should come with choices.
Where to live. What to do for work. Who to spend time with. What to make for dinner. How late to stay out. What comes next.
Those everyday choices are a big part of being an adult. At Treasure House, residents get the space to make them, learn from them and become more confident in what they can do for themselves.
And when something gets tricky? Someone is close by to help.

A lot of life happens here.
Treasure House is home, with all the routines, responsibilities, friendships and unexpected moments that come with it. Our team is here to coach, encourage, troubleshoot and sometimes simply be nearby, so help always helps residents do more for themselves.

A front door of your own

Plenty of ways to belong.
One resident might be focused on landing a new job, while another is mastering a favorite recipe or making weekend plans with friends. There is no cookie-cutter version of independence at Treasure House, and that is exactly how it should be. We give everyone the space and support to define a good life on their own terms.
“These residents can put their stuff in their apartments and invite a friend over for a Coke; they can wake up and say, ‘I'm going to work’; they can say, ‘Do you want to dance tonight?’”
Meet the people who make it happen.
Treasure House works because there are people here who know when to teach, when to encourage, when to lend a hand and when to let someone figure it out for themselves.
