Chicken N Pickle Glendale Raises $5,500
for Supportive Living Residence

Chicken N Pickle shows their commitment to serving local communities well beyond great food and entertainment. Just before their August 8, 2023, grand opening in Westgate Entertainment District, the restaurant and pickle ball court hosted a ‘Tip for a Cause’ fundraiser benefiting Treasure House. The amazing staff at Chicken N Pickle raised $5,500 for the supportive living residence, a home and community for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs).

The week prior to opening, Chicken N Pickle hosted four days of mock service lunch and dinner experiences to train staff. Individuals who RSVP’d for one of eight services received complimentary meals, and all tips were donated to Treasure House. Treasure House supporters dined for free and tipped generously!

“We participate in philanthropic efforts throughout the communities we service, embracing causes that matter most to our Chicken N Pickle guests, and giving back to them in meaningful ways,” said Chicken N Pickle via Instagram. “During the learning process, servers are paid an hourly training rate, and any tips compiled are donated to a featured organization. We invited Treasure House to come out and experience the newest coop.”

Treasure House Phoenix residents enjoyed lunch service together.
